Lukas Kesler was born in 1989 in Berlin and is a scenographer & sculptor. He graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor in Architecture at the Technical University of Berlin. He then lived and worked in Vancouver and completed his Master's degree in Stage Design & Scenography in 2018. Since 2019, Lukas Kesler has been working in the workshop of stonemason Matthias Heinz, setting gravestones in Berlin's cemeteries and his own works in non-places of the city. At the Theater he works for the Schauspielhaus Gras, the Ballhaus Ost, Theater Paderborn and is, together with Marilena Büld, head-designer for the self-initiative Festspiele am Plötzensee.
